Since I was asked, I'm going to post a brief review of it. I've only played with it an hour or so at this point, so these are early observations. I am not affiliated with MyFamily.com, Inc, and I have nothing to gain by the following observations. The new user interface is much more professional looking. It looks like FTM has finally left the DOS world and become a real Windows application. The family pages are laid out better, and the gray color scheme looks better to me than the pale yellow that they've used for so long. IF you have an account with ancestry.com, you can now search their web databases from FTM. There's a web search button for each person in the family page view as well as the new pedigree chart view. This new search feature will search the ancestry.com databasea and then allow ou to directly merge the information into your database. The family page view now shows 8 children at a time, and includes their name, sex, birth date and place, and death date and place so you can now edit more information about a child without having to change to that child's family view. The Spouse and Scrapbook links for a person in the family view now has a number next to it that tells you how many spouses or scrapbook items they have (if there are more than one of each). The family page also lists the names of the parents of each person in a clickable buton above their names. FTM now has bookmarks. You can add a book mark for people in your database that you view often, just like a bookmark in a web browser. However, you can't bookmark things like reports or graphs. When you use one of the web-enable functions, it now works better with your default browser instead of forcingyou to use Internet Explorer. I use Mozilla, and it will happily pop up Mozilla for me. The biggest negative that I've found so far is that burial date and place are no longer listed on the family page. You can still add that information in the "Edit Individual" window, but I liked it in the family page. _\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_ | Roger L.
