I beieved she was helped by Mary Elizabeth Walker (prabably a relative of mine). She was a nurse during the civil war and did more than her share. She was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor, then it was taken back, then awarded again. The only one to a female. I have never head a word about her out of Clarksville.......Is it be cause she was a Yankee??????
