    2. Sandy: Thanks for that update it ws very informative. Since I live in Ashland City and go to Clarksville several times a month I am curious if this will be in the same location as the new library? Faye

    3. Yes----to both! The Montgomery County Archives is in Clarksville. It was moved to the former Acme Boot Plant on Madison Street----now the Gas and Water Complex----while the old Montgomery Wards building was being renovated. The archives is back at the Plaza---same general area as the Public Library---in the newly renovated Wards building. It's even on the same side of the building except the entrance is no longer near the corner. The building is now plainly marked----there are signs over the doors telling what offices can be reached through that particular set of doors. Above the door where the archives is located says something like "Purchasing & Archives". When you go through those doors, you actually enter a hallway. The county's purchasing dept. is on the left and the archives is on the right. It's really no problem to find!
