    2. Wasn't one of them the "Roxy" theater? And there was a drive in theater, I can't remember where. Elsie

    3. Elsie, The Roxy is still on the corner of 1st and Franklin. It replaced the Lillian. The Sunset Drive-In was on what we now call Madison Street where TradeWinds Shopping Center is. (That McDonald's sets about where Henry Newhouse had a "dairy freeze".) The MoonLit Drive-In was in "North Clarksville" on 41-A (Ft. Campbell Blvd) about where Magic Wheels Skating Rink is/was (haven't been that way in so long I don't know if the skating rink is still there!). (Further out 41-A toward the State Line was the Family Drive-In but they specialized in x-rated movies.) Elder's Opera House was on the Public Square/Franklin Street. I just wondered the names of the others that my Dad remembered as a child---before the Capitol was built. I spent a lot of Saturday's at the Capitol or Roxy---watching 10-cent matinees but Daddy remembers when Gene Autry and Champion were 'live' at the Capitol. (That's how I knew Champion had a gun on his bridle.) Daddy thinks the name of one he went to was the "Princess" and I haven't found a reference to it in anything around the house---thought someone on the list might know! Sandy Ellis
