    3. A couple of years ago I was looking for Mrs. Beach's book, "Along the Warioto" when I was on a trip to Clarksville. I called all the bookstores I could find in the yellow pages and no one had it. Several stores referred me to Elder's Bookstore in Nashville. Before I flew home, I allowed time to go to Elder's and they did not have it either, but took a request for it. Several months later they called me that they had it and sent it to me. At that time I paid $ 50 for the book plus shipping. If you have relatives in the area, its a good idea to ask them to look at yard sales and flea markets for books like this. Sometimes people get lucky. Deanna

    3. Another resource for finding out of print books is abebooks.com. This is a site where independent booksellers can publish their inventory. You search the site for the book you want, and depending on the bookseller, can buy either directly from the bookseller or through abebooks. Abebooks.com lists three copies of "Along the Warioto" right now. Sherri Nichols
