Are any of the ALLEN'S living in Montgomery Co. TN descendents of David Allen and Apphia (Lewis) Allen of Cumberland, Halifax and Pittsylvania Co. VA. I am applying for admission into the SAR through David Alllen of Pittsy Co.VA. Rev War Soldier and am trying to get documented proof of the names of his children. David died in 1800 in Pittsy Co. VA and I am not sure if Apphia (Lewis) Allen remarried or migrated to Montgo Co. TN with son David Bushrod Allen and died in TN. David Bushrod Allen married Martha Battle Norfleet in Montgo Co. TN on 17 Apr 1821 amd they later migrated to Coahoma Co. MS. I couldn't find a will of David or Apphia in Pittsy Co. VA. I don't know when or where Apphia died.
