There have been several posts about the Clarksville Leaf-Chronicle's "new" web site at www.theleafchronicle.com For now, if someone mentions an article or obit, it's only available that particular day. The good news is that there are plans to archive much of the web site---including the obits. The bad news is that there is no time frame for this being done. If you visit this web site, there is an email address for you to contact the Leaf Chronicle. I have done this a few times to ask questions about the web site (i.e.---when would the obits be on-line?). I have told the newspaper that I am on several genealogy lists and that people from all over the country are interested in local obits. It was a matter of days and the obits were on-line! These people seem to be listening! Just a suggestion---maybe if more of us asked about an archives for the web site, they would see the interest and have it available sooner! As I said, they "do" listen and they will respond to your email. Sandy Ellis
