Jean & Laura: I have some information regarding the FERRELLS. William FERRELL, born @1812, N.C. and Delila CARTWRIGHT, born @1810, Tn., had the following children: 1) William F. FERRELL, born @1840, Tn. married Nancy A. LEIGH 2) Sarah FERRELL, born @1842 3) Harriett FERRELL, born @1845, married #1 David F. CROUCH, #2 Samuel SCUDDER and #3 Henry BEADLES. 4) James R. FERRELL, born @1847 5) John FERRELL, born @1850 6) Elizabeth FERRELL, born 1852 All of the above children were apparently born in Montgomery County. They were in the 1850 and 1860 Montgomery County census. Harriett FERRELL was the third wife of my g-g-grandfather, Samuel SCUDDER. They had a daughter named Florence, born @1870 and then divorced. Mary, This is what I have on Harriet. It definitely needs to be checked. Its been so long since I actively worked on this line, I know it needs a little polishing. I also had a question mark on the 3rd marriage (Randall Metcalf). ______ 1. Harriett Angeline2 Ferrell (William1) was born about 1844, and died Unknown. She married (1) David F. Crouch 1859 in Montgomery County, Tennessee. She married (2) Samuel Scudder 01 November 1868 in Montgomery County, Tennessee. She married (3) Randall Metcalf 1875 in Montgomery County, Tennessee. She married (4) Henry Beadles 1877. Notes for Harriett Angeline Ferrell: On 12 Aug 1871 a Nancy A. FERRELL deeded property to Harriett SCUDDER. *Children of Harriett Ferrell and David Crouch are: 2 i. Mary3 Crouch, born 1860; died Unknown. 3 ii.
