While visiting Springfield, Illinois and Abe Lincoln's historical places , I was told that it took hours to make a picture and people often had to stand for a few hours to make a picture. Many wore wool in the summer so it was not a pleasant thing to do. It would be hard to hold a smile for hours. Just a thought. Carrol
