Great to make a connection! Not sure how much detail you want, but Sarah (Sally) Bryan was the d/o James Hardy Bryan and Lucy Hatch. Sally was b.7 Feb. 1805 and d. 2 Nov. 1867 (this from the Bryan family Bible). According to a chart that is part of the Lucy Catherine Bailey papers at the Tennessee State Library,she (Sally) married a Lafayette Copeland. There is a good chance, btw, that the bondsman could have been David Newton Kennedy (usually seen as D. N. Kennedy) who married into the Bailey/Bryan clan.
