The TSLA now has Delayed Birth Certificates. These were applied for in the 1940s. As I understand it, the certificates for people born 1900-1913 are not available, but are listed in the index, which provides the county of birth, date of birth and the mother's first name. Certificates for persons, born prior to 1900 are available, if they applied. On an index that I copied yesterday on one line of my family, the earliest year of birth seen is 1872. This will be a big help in identifying some of the folks born between 1880 and 1900, if they applied for a delayed birth certificate. Mary
What is TSLA and how do you get there? Thanks. J. [email protected] wrote: > The TSLA now has Delayed Birth Certificates. These were applied for in the > 1940s.
