My gg-aunt, Carrie Choate was born in Montgomery County, Tenn. on March 10, 1883. She was the daughter of Andrew Jackson Choate and Nancy Brown Choate (My gg-grandparents.) Andrew Jackson went by the name John and Jack. Carrie's sibling's were: Thomas C. Choate John W. Choate James A. Choate Amanda C. Choate Amla/Amby Choate John W. Choate was my great grandfather. He was called Bill/Billy. John W. settled in Christian County, Ky. along with most of his siblings. If anyone has any information on this family, I would greatly appreciate it.
