His parents names are uncertain. Matilda was born in MD. Probable sister, Anna was born 1821, KY. I think I saw a John Welker in the 1820 KY census. John Welker must not have been in KY long. As Matilda was born in 1819 MD and another probable child, John William was born in 1822, an alternate child Phoebe was born in 1822. That would only leave a two or three year gap between Matilda and John William. This is another line that I wish I had more info for. A cousin of mine, who does not have proof, thinks William M, 1810, Thomas, 1813, Matilda, 1819, Anna, 1821 KY, John William, 1822 TN, and Jacob G, 1829, TN were siblings. Further, that Phoebe Ann, 1822 TN, George W, 1824 TN, Joseph A, 1826, and Sarah Jane, 1827 TN were siblings. Remember, no proof that I am aware of.
