Does anyone have any information on an Absolom Davis b. 1752 in North Carolina m. 1st Elizabeth Dawson 8-17-1777 NC 2nd Nancy Raimey 2-22-1797 NC Absolom sold his land and 29 Slaves in Granville County, NC 1828 Absolom's Will was recorded 2-4-1835 in Montgomery County, TN Since Dawson and Raimey are both names that lived around the Davis' I am hoping someone may know about these people?     2. Debbie, we corresponded a months or so ago.... Absolum may have been kin to "Randel" Ramey supposedly Randolph Ramey who also left Granville Co. before 1830 and lived in Montgomery Co. Tenn. I have not found Absolum on a census in Montgomery Co. Do you have any information as to what census he appears on. I believe that Benjamin, Randolph and Absolum were brothers.......can't prove it yet....as planning research trip early summer.
