Hi Folks, I am curious about Gutheridge Lyons who was in either Montgomery Co. or Dickson Co. somewhere around 1820-1825. The name "Lyon/Lyons" is very prevalent throughout my Rook line dating as far back as 1735 in Northampton Co., NC down through late 1880's in Marshall Co., MS. There are several references to a Nancy Lyon(s) who married John Rook supposedly in TN around 1800 or perhaps a little earlier than that in Northampton Co., NC and then went to Montgomery Co. with her husband John. Can anyone give me some ideas about this Lyon(s) line? Jean Hancock in TX
