Solomon Alston Kittrell (may have been a physician) died in Clarksville-Montgomey-TN at age about 36. He married Mary Ann `Nancy' Brodie in 1805 probably in Granville-NC. She was the d/o: John Brodie MD (III) (b 1753 Scotland) & Mary Taylor {executor of Solomon Kittrell's will} s/o John Brodie MD (II) (b 1733 Scotland) & Elizabeth Unknown s/o John Brodie (I) (c1700 Scotland) & Martha Sclater. Are there ANY Brodie's in Montgomery-TN???? buried with a DAR rock???? This family is `riddled' with physicians........ DAR identifies John (III) as a Patriot in error (what else is new?) and he should be John (II) who was a physician/surgeon in Hampton & Newport News-Isle of Wight-VA during the Rev War. Still don't know the HARRISON that married into these clans......... jerree
