    2. William, Thanks but death certificates had not been invented in 1833. I have never found them to be very reliable anyway.......like tombstones... I read a record last night from `Coffin Book of Thomas Farley' in Montgomery-TN (must have been the undertaker....I wonder where that word came from?)...... On 13 Mar 1875 he charged a man (name withheld for reasons of my own) $25.00 for a coffin for his wife. This wife died in 1877.....according to her tombstone. Maybe the coffins were on sale that day or maybe Thomas Farley `cooked the books'. jerree
