Well, I have got to jump in here...I am one of those people who live on the computer....I am handicapped and cannot get to all those wonderful research sites...It is my window on the world...and the exchange of genealogy information is what these lists are all about...I belong to about a dozen genealogy lists and get 1000 emails a day...I also do lookups in the 1850-60-80 census' for Tennessee..I have other research materials that I also share with people who ask.. I read each and every email to see if pertains to me or if I can help them in any way.... All this only takes about 4 hours a day and I still have time for my family and my other love, quilting......and I enjoyed the lively discussion of the Civil War and learned a few things about it that I did not know before...If William did nothing else, he got this list animated and I appreciate it.... So if anyone needs a lookup in the 1850, 1870 census for Tennessee or the 1880 for all states, just ask..I like to share information...
