    3. Maybe you could start a Montgomery County discussion list. Just a suggestion, Barbara

    3. Does anyone have a Graham/Meacham connection? (There was a family reunion last weekend at the fairgrounds.) I went to the reunion hoping to learn something about Ferrell Brandon Graham but no one seemed to know anything about him or where he came from. He married Fannie Shepherd in 1886 in Montgomery County. Fannie was the daughter of Martin Luther Shepherd. Ferrell and Fannie Shepherd Graham had a son Henry Patton that married Lady Bell Meacham. This is the family that started the "Graham/Meacham" reunion. They've had this reunion for years but Sunday is the first one I've attended. I thought it was interesting when I mentioned the connection between the Shepherd/Meacham families and none of these people knew about it although they knew Fannie was a Shepherd! Ferrell and Fannie were my g-grandparents---daughter Mary Louise was my grandmother. I think Ferrell is the most solid brick wall I've encountered. Although he was born between 1858 and 1860, I haven't located him on a census prior to 1880 (thanks to Debby Sullins). Thanks for any help with this one! Sandy Ellis
