I'll try to help out again. I won't be running out the causes for the Civil War thing again. Gee, in reality, I asked the opinion of those who had beliefs that differed with slavery. I was asked by a Yankee cousin for that answer. I did not know. I guess I had preferred that is be different from slavery and in some respects it was. But it did get lively!! :) You are right about the sharing of info. If all one was able to offer was a hard time to the list, then no that is not good. But you have at least some material at hand and are willing to do look ups. In fact, I have one for you now. Can you check the 1880 census for ........Well, I thought I had one but who escapes me at the moment. :) William
