    3. Not a problem, Roger. The lady that sent me looking for Bullock Cemetery also has family buried at the Methodist Church cemetery. When I go down that way, I usually take flowers to her parents' graves for her because she lives out of state. Today was a little different because her sister died a couple of months ago and is also buried there. The family is glad I stopped by the cemetery because the sister's grave has sunk in terribly. I knew you hadn't gotten a response to your post so I printed it out and took it with me. I took binoculars and a camera just in case I had luck finding the Bullock Cemtery so I was prepared to take photos of your Williams grave(s) too. I sure wish it had been a better day---my Irish luck sure wasn't with me! Sandy Ellis

    3. While researching at the Eastern Tennessee Historical Society I discovered the following obituary: YARBROUGH, no name. Died 20 Nov. 1857, while cooking breakfast. Lived in Montgomery County, TN. Husband is deceased. "Clarksville Weekly Chronicle. (27 Nov. 1857 p.3)" This was Mary "Polly" Vaughn, daughter of John Powell Vaughn, Sr. She was born in 1806 in Montgomery County, Tennessee and married John P. Yarbrough in 1825. "Polly" was sister to John Powell Jr., Michael, Abner, and Susan (my gggrandmother). If anyone can add anything further I would be happy to hear from them. Alice in Arizona

    3. I've been looking unsuccessfully for a transcription for the gravestones for the Dotsonville Central Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Does anyone know if one exists online? I'm specifically looking for the grave of Richard WILLIAMS, born about 1871, buried March 21, 1910, and any Williamses buried near him. _\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_ | Roger L. 1. Re: [TNMONTGO-L] Stamper/Bryant of Montgomery & Stewart Cos, TN
    2. In checking my BRYANT database I find many marriages with STAMPERs: John Henry BRYANT married Sarah Gertrude STAMPER before 1890 (he was the son of Nicholas Jr) Silas STAMPER married Marissa BRYANT. She was the daughter of Nicholas Sr and Nancy BRYANT. Mason STAMPER married Felicia BRYANT (b1814--daughter of Nicholas Sr) Maggie STAMPER married Mason BRYANT (b1853 son of George W. Bryant) of the above, George W. BRYANT and Nicolas Jr were sons of Nicholas Sr and Nancy BRYANT. I descend from Nicholas Sr. through another son Chester Arthur BRYANT. Good luck in your STAMPER research Ida Deal North Carolina

Co., TN); Elizabeth Stamper (d. aft 1858); Robert Stamper (d. bef 1858); Silas Stamper (d aft 1858), married Minna ______; Jesse Stamper (ca 1811-aft 1859), married Martha ______, and had a large family. I am not a descendant, and don't have much else on them. Cleo.
