Dear Jody, I am certainly no expert, but I believe if you call the Montgomery County Tax Assessor's Office they will be able to tell you if there is any property in their county that is in the name you mentioned. Also since your mom had noted the map and parcel number it should be easy for them to find! If you tell them that you have the map and parcel number they should be able to look on their tax map and tell you who is the owner of the property noted! Good luck in your search! It may involve your time looking at microfiche and big old record books but the answer is in the court house somewhere.
