    2. Hi Mike, (Michael Brown) Glad to hear from another Californian!! And Bakersfield is so close! My Hutchisons were from Montgomery Co & helped form the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. My gggrandfather, Henry Clay Hutchison settled in Stewart Co. & his son or grandson had the family farm taken by TVA. So far I haven't found any Harringtons but hey, I have a long way to go yet in my research! Of course I know Canyon Country--we are very close by! My parents moved to Long Beach CA before my sis & I were born to work in the defense plants during WWII. We went back to TN & KY every other year to see relatives. Hope your holidays are great! Thanks again for responding. Linda Moss De Vita Saugus, CA

    3. Hi Jeff, My Grandfather was Mack Ferrin (Tiney) Smith, son of Mack Ferrin (McFerrin or MF) Smith. His father was Harry McFerrin Smith, son of Samuel R. Smith. Samuel R was awarded 1000 acres of Montgomery County for service in the Revolutionary war. He moved to TN from NC in 1830 when he was in his 70s, and is buried in what is now Ft. Campbell. I know absolutely nothing about his ancestors. Ina is not in my database, but if there is one thing I've learned during the past year, it's that I have a LOT of cousins I haven't found yet.
