Would anyone on this list know anything about "Frank Fiederling, Cigars & Tobacco" in Clarksville? I remember going there probably in 40's and 50's where they had a real wooden cigar store Indian out in the front. Just wonder if the business is still there. Thanks. Jo...

Thanks Hank. I do have Cindy's list bookmarked and need to check it out. When I was in Clarksville this summer I found an 1836 map in some Montgomery County Genealogy magazines and it had Half Pone Creek on it---that was a jewel! I also found a few maps on University of Texas at Austen's site believe it or not! They have been most helpful. Happy Trails to You, Kathy W. Kathy, Have you been to Cyndi's List on the web ? When you bring up her website look for the alphabetical list of subjects or categories. I believe there is Map site included there. I am researching Robert Bevell, in Mongomery near Brush Creek 1800-1830, also the Compery surname up by McAdoo creek, same time period. Trying to find out if there was a Keziah Compery born about 1795, married Robert Bevell about 1812. Thanks, Dan
I am writing a small collection on the migration of my family from S.C. through Tennessee to Southwest Territory. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I could find public domain maps of TN and US for use in this resource? Happy Trails to You, Kathy

Does anyone have info on the Civil War 38th TN Inf. Regt. I would like to know where the regiment originated and where the men were from? Thanks, Elsie
There are none in the Clarksville Phone book but I dont know about surrounding areas? You can try to get on Yahoo or dogpile.com and look under white pages and see what it shows for Faxon?
