What I am really trying to find is his date of Enlistment and also I want to know if he rejoined his unit after Vicksburg. Almost all of the 59th Tenn. were captured at Vicksburg, I think after Vicksburg this unit joined another one. I am creating a memorial page on my family website to honor my Civil War ancestors, so I was just trying to find some basic information about his service.
