I've added a transcript of Henry McCurdy's 15 Aug. 1870 letter from Notchey Creek, Monroe CO, TN to my website. He is writing a daughter by his first marriage and on the back another to his son Thomas Benton McCurdy. He mentions his daughter Easter Ann who married Aurelius Shelton Stiles, son of William McConnell Stiles of Mt. Vernon, Monroe CO, TN. Henry McCurdy died almost nine years later and is buried at Hickory Grove Cemetery. David Stiles gave me a copy of this many years ago.
