They had two daughters, Elizabeth and Edna (my grandmother). It appears that they were orphaned early in life and raised by Sarah's sister Rose who had married Edward Gilbert who founded Gilbert Printing Co in Ashville NC. I have no dates for Sarah or Martin but Edna was born 9 Sept 1900 and married Tyson Hicks.
