Hello list I'm a new subscriber and am researching WHITE, NORMAN, PUTMAN and SNOW in Monroe Co.........SNOW might have been in Blount Co, I'm not certain on that one. I have a favor to ask already! ... In the Monroe Co Heritage Book there is a mention of "Milly", wife #2 of Elijah Putman, being Cherokee and the daughter of Chief Big Stick. Would someone who has the book check and see if there might be more on this subject and anything on these other names? And is the book still available for purchase?
