His death certificate shows he was born in Monroe County, TN and died in Whiteside, Marion County, TN. His father's name is not listed on the death certificate and his Mother is shown as Margaret Hicks. I am unable to find his parents on a Monroe County, TN census. I found him listed in Marion County , TN 1900-1930 Census. This is my husband's Ggrandfather. < Charles R. ROBERT WALKER HICKS (UNKNOWN1) was born April 15, 1866 in Monroe County, TN, and died March 21, 1940 in Whiteside, Marion County, TN. He married (1) AMANDA HALE October 03, 1886 in Marion County, TN, (possibly the daughter of PLEASANT HALE and SUSAN). She was born Unknown, and died Abt. 1893. He married (2) LOU HILLIARD April 24, 1896 in Unknown. She was born August 05, 18806, and died October 29, 1953.
