    3. So many of our earlier records are gone. I can't find any Randalls here at all in 1840. 1830 Monroe Co. Tn Pg. 150 Randle, Jane 22-220001 The 1820 Monroe as well as many east Tenn counties are lost. You might check our lookup people to check out a possible deed, however most the early ones of those are gone. Joy Joy Locke jlocke@usit.net Monroe Co. RANDALL - born appx 1828 This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: RANDALL, FELTS Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/RgB.2ACE/564 Message Board Post: Seeking any available information on Jacob M. RANDALL, and/or his family. His Union civil war record states that he was born in Monroe County, Tn, in about 1828. He married Elizabeth Ann FELTS in Bradley Co, TN, on 29 Jul 1847, according to an affidavit made in her application for a civil war widow's pension. They moved, as a family, to Union Co, IL, in appx late 1849- early 1850. I would especially like to obtain the names of his parents. I am told that they possibly were J. and Jane Randall. ============================== Census images 1901, 1891, 1881 and 1871, plus so much more. Ancestry.com's United Kingdom & Ireland Collection.
