Subject: TN soldiers buried in Confederate cemetery, Barnesville, Georgia Dear Ones,    PLEASE! I need help...I wrote to TN State Archives & received NO DATA, but did receive a form letter...was MOST DISAPPOINTED in their lack of interest in assisting us with a proper and correct memorial to the TN men who died for Southern freedom. Our data comes from two sources-one from UDC rec'ds. (with many errors in spelling, companies & reg't.s)& one from recently received Confederate medical records for the five hospitals which were operated here in Barnesville. From these two sources we have a compsit list of knwon dead from TN. There are fifteen men from TN buried in Barnesville which we have names for...our request is that someone who is willing to look these men up will help us with the following information on each soldier:      Name (correct spelling), company, reg't., date & location of enlistment (county/town), length of enlistment, rank at enlistment & at time of death, if wounded, where & date & date of death & name of hospital. All of these soldiers were in hospitals here from March thru Sept.,1864.    Our purpose is to order tombstones for the Confederate Cemetery.
