I am looking for any information for WALTER J. MOSES and family from Monroe County, Tennessee. I have two daughters and a son for this man and his two wives. I have: Margaret Jane "Peggy" Moses born 1826, Monroe County, Tennessee (first child of Walter J. Moses and first his wife Nancy Jane "Unknown"). Margaret first married an "Unknown" McCravy in 1845. They had one son, Joseph McCravy born 1846. She then married Henry Hiram Nash, and they had one daughter Rebecca Anne "Becky" Nash. They lived in St. Francois County, Missouri. LaVina Moses born December 25, 1854, Monroe County, Tennessee (child of Walter J. Moses and second wife "Unknown"). LaVina Moses married William "Woodson" Ketcherside on October 11, 1868. They are the parents of twelve children, and also lived in St. Francois County, Missouri. John Ning Moses born 1857, birth place unknown (son of Walter J. Moses and second wife "Unknown"). John Ning Moses married Laura Alice Lawson. He died 1929 in Bonne Terre, St. Francois County, Missouri. All three of these children moved into St. Francois County, Missouri, I am assuming about 1840 or later. Any help with this MOSES family would be greatly appreciated. I am only going to be at this email address until July 31st, and I am making a big move east. I currently live in Brookings, Oregon, and I am moving to Ironton, Iron County, Missouri, in mid August.
