As a Memorial Day tribute, I've scanned and uploaded to "Kinfolks in the Knobs" a photo of Prospect Methodist Church in McMinn CO, TN as well as transcribed and uploaded a copy of the church/cemetery deed. Also, I've scanned and uploaded photos of my great-great-great-great-grandparents' tombstones located in the cemetery. My ancestor James C. Baker, Sr. was the first person interred in this cemetery. He and his wife Nancy Jane Baker were church members. Their descendants spread far and wide -- to Fannin CO, TX and Delaware CO, OK. Some, like my direct-line ancestors, remained in Tennessee, the land they loved so dearly.
