He lived in Sweetwater in the early 1960's and was reassined to Columbus GA, after my father graduated high school, 1962, in Sweetwater. He told me before he died in 2004 the box was left on the back porch and would have contained a Large Oval Picture with Goldish looking frame. It would have had two men and a baby (or toddler). The papers in the box would have had the names Andre or Peterman, possibly Jackson or Godsey,tho i doubt it. I spoke several years ago to a Ms. Peterman (not related)in Sweetwater, My grandmother worked at their diner. However Ms. Peterman could not remember where the house was, she remembered my family though. With all the papers i have i still do not know an exact address, of the house Grandpa Purchased in sweetwater, and my Father does not remember anything more than it was a newer home in a neighborhood. I know this is a long shot trying to find it, but i just can! t let go, it may be out there in someones closet not knowing where it goes....
