He was said to be from Sweetwater Tn. He moved to Screven Co Ga where he died on 8-27-1865. Documents in Screven show that he had a brother Drury b 1822 Tn who lived in Pickens Co Al (married Julia Long). He had another brother William b 1811 Tn who also lived in Screven Co Ga, died 1873, and is buried next to Andrew in the Cornelius Burke cemetery. William was a Mason. Our research has shown that Andrew was married to Priscilla Harris b 1816, daughter of George C Harris and Sarah McCray of Madisonville Tn. The family was in Wilkinson Co Ga in the 1850 census, where he was listed as as railroad manager. There were 11 children: John L or Daniel, Magdalena, Drury, Eglentine, Eliza J (married Howell), George W, Mary, William Thomas, Andrew J, James P, and David S Miller. Some grandchildren's names that might be relevant are Harmon, Josephine, Nunn, Julian Sinclair, Clifford, Osa. I am looking for any information that might help determine who the parents of Andrew, William, and Drury might be. There is strong indication of a Parker tie. We would greatly appreciate any information on Millers in Monroe Co, or Harris family ties, anything that might give us further information.
