TN 1820, Monroe Co. TN 1830 and I believe some went on to Roane Co. TN 1840 and 1850 then scattered, some going to AR and some to MO and other places. In 1820 White Co. TN page 58 Henry H. Goodman 26-45 b. 1775-1794 2 males under 10 b. 1810-1820 1 female under 10 b. 1810-1820 1 female 26-45 b. 1775-1794 no slaves Also in 1820 White Co. TN pg. 69 Charles Goodman over 45 2 males under 10 1 female under 10 1 female 10-16 1 female 26-45 no slaves also in White Co. TN 1820 there was a Stephen Crane (Crone?) 26-45 3 males under 10 2 males 10-16 1 male 16-18 2 males 16-26 1 female 10-16 1 female 16-26 no slaves 1820 White Co. TN Abijah Crane (Crone?) 26-45 1 male under 10 2 female under 10 1 female 10-16 1 female 16-26 no slaves I am not certain what became of Charles Goodman or the Crane (Crone) families but I THINK Henry Goodman moved on to Monroe Co. TN for the 1830 Census. 1830 Monroe Co. TN 1830 page 137 Henry Goodman 50-60 b. 1770-1780 1 male 5-10 yrs b. 1820-1825 2 males 10-15 yrs b. 1815-1820 1 female 30-40 b. 1790-1800 1 female 5-10 b. 1820-1825 2 females 10-15 b. 1815-1820 1 female 70-80 b. 1750-1760 I believe this is possibly the family of my Henry Goodman [email protected] VA, and his sisters Nancy Goodman b. @1815 VA and Minerva Jane Goodman b. Jan. 9, 1823 TN or AL. Henry Goodman b. @1815 VA &. Charlotte Moore b. @1818 TN married in Monroe Co. TN Sep 11, 1838. They lived in Roane Co. TN 1840 & 1850 then moved on to Van Buren Co. AR in the middle 1850s where they remained until their deaths after 1880. They named their children: 1. Margaret A. T. T. Elizabeth Goodman b. @1840 TN 2. William Lon C. Goodman b. @1842 AL 3. George W. Goodman b. @1846 TN 4. Mary Isobella Goodman b. Nov. 1849 TN 5. Cassandra Minerva Jane Enterprise Goodman b. Sep 1854 AR or TN (pob varies on census records) 6. Cordillia Lodusky "Doc" Goodman b. @1858 AR Nancy Goodman (b. @1815 VA) m. George Crone (sometimes apprears as Crane b. @1810 SC). I do not know when or where they married but most of their children were born in AL before moving to Van Buren Co. AR in the middle 1850s I am not certain where in AL they lived, I have not located them on a census there. Minerva Goodman b. Jan. 9, 1823 AL or TN (she always told her kids she was from Old Turkey Town, Cherokee Co. AL but census records vary, AL or TN) married George Moore b. @1821 MS. They moved to Van Buren Co. AR about 1850. I know there were Goodmans in White Co. TN & DeKalb Co. TN in the early 1800's and I don't know if they were connected.
