Jan 25, 1865 Isaac Lindsey, Sr. to Martha Mull, by JR Burchfield, J.P. does anyone know if the above marriage refers to the Isaac Lindsey born ca. 1831 in Campbell County Va. He was the son of Isaac Lindsey, born 1783/ died ca. May 1861. in Monroe Co. TN. The elder Isaac was married to a Mary ? b. ca. 1787. I do not have a death date for this Isaac Lindsey, but he did spend his later years in a veterans home in Ft. Leavinworth, Kansas. If this is the one, then he is also the Uncle of Big Ike Lindsey of Povo TN (famed postmaster, whiskey distiller, store owner, CW vet, etc.).
