TN Chancery Court Records, 1832-1887, transcribed by Reba Boyer; # 609 Fielding F. Henry and wife Emiline V. Thomas L.D. Trotter et al. Filed 5 Jan. 1857. Petition to sell land. File contains copy of Will of Henry Tucker, of Monroe Co., TN. The Will, probated Sept. 1840, left all lands to last wife Sally until youngest son James comes of age and then sold and proceeds divided among children by Sally; $ 1 each to beloved son Kintchen Tucker, beloved daughter Pursey Davis, and beloved daughter Anny Sheden; one filly to beloved son William; exec. 10 Aug. 1840; witnesses; William Isbell and Isaac Hicks. David M. Tucker was appointed Adm. with Will annexed and he now lived in Ark. In Jan. 1847 David sold land to Thomas L. D. Trotter who sold to Phillip Trotter, but David had no right to sell. Chancellor dismisses Bill but his decision is reversed by the Tenn. Supreme Court. Henry Tucker's children by a previous wife are Kinchen supposed to be of Va.; Pursey Davis supposed to be of Miss.; and Anna Sheden of parts unknown. Henry's children by las! t wife Sally are James of Ga. now between ages 22 and 23; David M. of Ark.; Henry of GA.; John of Monroe Co.; Patrick of Monroe Co.; Emiline wife of Fielding F. Henry; Jane dec'd wife of John Lindsey of Monroe Co. who left son David and one other; and William who died 1847-1848 with no issue and no wife.
