TN is completely erroneous in the claim to descendancy from Gov. William Branch Giles. The Thomas Giles who married Nancy Lee is NOT Thomas Tabb Giles, son of the governor. Thomas Tabb Giles, an attorney and an administrator of his father's estate in 1830, never left Virginia. Moreover, he never married.
