So her age should be 34 instead of 43 in 1880. It is my guess again that Sophronia died and George then marries the sister Amanda. In Marriage Records; Winder Geo. to Sophronia Haskins 11/13/1873, Book D, page 172 Winder, George to Amanda Haskins 1/14/1884, Book E, page 513 The records that you need to see 1890 Census are not available. They were lost in a fire at the Nathional Archives. George Winder was married and living next door to the Haskin Family in the 1870 Census; Dist. 3 # 103 Winder, George 44 , VA Jane 47, NC Pleasant 14, KY, Nancy KY. So he may have married in KY. George is about the same age as James Haskins who was 45 in 1870. When a wife died , it was very common for the man to marry another sister. I cannot prove that to be the case for George but it seems to be. There is a story in the Monroe Co. Heritage Book on the James Henry Haskins family submitted by a researcher, Beverly Foster Gines, P.O. Box 185, Wilson, WY 83014 / in 1997. You might try to get in touch with her and find out some answers. I am a volunteer to look up records. I do not research this family. Hope some of this will help.
