Her name is Mary Olive Gentry, born November 6, 1868 in Monroe County TN. She was the daughter of Elizabeth Jane Gentry, and ??? Elizabeth had at least 3 children "sans marriage" and they all had the Gentry name. She was the daughter of John A. Gentry and Mary Sims. John had at least 3 wives. He was the son of Allen D. Gentry and Nancy Gentry. Allen D. was the son of Meshack. Nancy was the daughter of Obednigo Gentry, Meshack's brother. Yes, that means that Allen D. and Nancy were 1st cousins. But as my husband says, in those days you went to a family reunion to look for a spouse (big grin!) Anyway, when you put the name of Mary Olive Gentry's husband, I KNEW I had them in my Gentry Family Treemaker files. We can sort out the other puzzle pieces, but this gives us a start!
