Surnames: Dyer/Smith/Calfee Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/RgB.2ACE/660 Message Board Post: Robert Felix Dyer and Mary Jane Smith were married in January 1878 at the home of John Calfee in Madisonville, Monroe County, Tn. 1870 Monroe Co TN census shows Mary Smith, age 16, living with John and Francis M Calfee. 1880 Monroe Co TN census shows John and Frances M Calffee living with Robert F and Mary J Dyer, as father-in-law and mother-in-law to Robert F Dyer. I am trying to determine the exact relationship of Mary Jane Smith to the Calfee family. I don´t believe John and Francis M are actually her parents.
