Thank you so much for the info, every little bit helps. My great-grandmother Maudie Maggard Boggs was Joe's sister. In the past year and a half I've been searching for info regarding Maudie's siblings but especially Joe since some of my living relatives remember him. I would love to make a connection with any of Joe's living relaties, if they're interested of course. If you have any other info that might be helpful please feel free to e-mail me at faithday@yahoo.com. Thanks again! Faith

Clayton b.1824 (mar. 25 Jan 1838 Monroe Co, TN, Emaline divorced Alexander 1860 due to abandonment). However, an old family paper I've just found has her as d/o Simon M. Givens and Mary Ann. I've ALSO seen an Alexander C. Givens as married to Nancy Evans 22 May 1853 Claiborne TN, which would conflict with Emaline Clayton. I also have George Haney as son of William Haney b, 1800 and Jirsay Parr b. 1808, but the same old paper has the mother as Margaret Pangle. These folks are in McMinn, TN.
