Tate and Carolyn Kelly. I have a brother named "Brunie" for Leslie, and wondered if that could be a nickname for Glen? Birthdate for Leslie is 10 May 1901. Birthdate for "Brunie" is 14 Apr 1902. Isaac Lafayette Tate is the son of Francis Marion Tate and Nancy Jane ?. The children I have for them are Washington, Callie, Thomas, Isaac L. and Morunna. Francis Marion Tate is the son of Isaac Tate and Mary A. "Polly" Payne. Mary Ann b. 25 Mar 1814 and d 6 Sep 1898 was the daughter of John Carroll Payne Jr. (1795-1863) and his wife Susan Jane Walls (1796-1863). I see that Joy Locke has the information on Isaac Tate's father William Robert Tate and his wife Elizabeth Hesse. That's as far back as I have too. Isaac Tate was born 25 Dec 1812, d. 11 Jun 1893, acc to the information I've gotten online. The Tates are also related to the Hunts and the Marshalls, and were all in Texas together at one time. I am a descendant of the Paynes, so have more information on that side of the family. I'd be glad to help in any way that I can. Joy Perry
