    3. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Joy Locke and everyone at the Monroe County historical website. Having worked on a similar site and organization and having spent so much time looking at others from around the country and other states. I want to go on record and say that I believe the Monore County website to be the number one best looking, best information, best laid out, the most organized, and the most kept up to date. You guys always seems to have something new that you are working on or adding. I just wish every county in all the states were as dedicated as the folks in Monore County are. Keep up the great work. Alva Bates with ties to eastern TN with the Bivens and Harris families. -----Original Message----- >From: Everhart132@aol.com >Sent: Oct 11, 2006 9:59 PM >To: tnmonroe-l@rootsweb.com >Subject: [TNMONROE] (no subject) > >Everyone that is on this list ,lets give Joy Locke a big hand..She has been >non-stop on updating materials for Monroe County..this takes some time and >effort..so if you have any additions or corrections ,help her out..I'm sure it >is really appreciated. > >Also as soon as I can I will try an have one of my Harris Family Books put >out at the Madisonville Library, The Descendants of James Harris Sr. & >Elizabeth Johnson.
