ELRIDGE and Lorenda MATLOCK. John was born abt. 1813 and he married Lorenda on aug. 8, 1835 in Rhea Co. They are listed in the 1850 and 1860 Meigs Co. cencus along with their children Sarah Jane, Louisa, William A., Charles M., Leander W. and Floyd. Columbus W. SHAMBLIN did die in Knox Co. on April 15, 1864 during the Civil War. He was born in Walker Co., GA about 1839. He and Louisa were married on Sept. 18, 1860 in Meigs Co. I would appreciate any help if this ties into what you have. I am at a dead end. Thank you for you for your reply. Lynda Gonzales
