Ken Griffin has agreed to give a talk about his ideas that deal with WW II He is so sharp and we have discussed many thoughts and ideas about war type situations I will be pleased to represent the Battleship TEXAS for your Armed Forces Day event on 17 May. Writing your name/and your ancestor's name will leave a memory of their dedication and work. With their name rank which conflict and unit, and if you are family of that ancestor you could leave your name and address (phone or email if you want) so that when people see your name and or unit maybe they can offer some information about your loved ones. Let us collect items to be sent to our troops from the people that live here in Spring we have a few soldiers and or military personnel over there protecting and serving. The Men and the Women that have dedicated their lives to the service of our great country are all heroes, giving of themselves with the full knowledge theirs is a dangerous job,but doing it because they can and because their comradeship serves a higher purpose.Come rejoice and celebrate all of our heroes.
