I have the application for CW pension papers for a William Owen Davis. I originally got them thinking he might be one of my lost relatives, but it doesn't appear that he is. Davis: b. 11/15/1836 or 37 in Meigs Co d. 7/11/1932 Decatur, Tn. and is buried at Walnut Grove Cem. m. ca 11/1864 to Louisa or Eliza who was b. ca 1844 Five children are mentioned son b. ca 1871 possibly Frank; female b. ca 1877; female b. ca 1885; male b. ca 1887; male b. ca 1889; female b. ca 1891.
