In 1850 his 3rd wife would have been Florantha 'Flora' Vaughan. I would be interested in all members of the household. Thank you.

From "A Compendium of Rhea and Meigs Counties Tn, 1808 through 1850" There is no "James" Dyer listed in either Rhea or Meigs County Census up thru 1850. There is a Rhea county tax list that mentions: 1823 (Capt. Piper's Co.): James Dyer 1 WP Dyer's in Rhea Census 1830 Spills B. Dyer Dyer's in Meigs Census 1840 Thomas Dyer 1850 Charity Dyer Hope this helps some.
