    3. This is Buttram Cemetery, on Highway 27. The church asked about is Walnut Grove Church. It was originally built in 1905 as a community building and school. My aunt taught there in her first teaching job in the 1920s. According to the book _Churches and Schools of Rhea County, Tennessee_, the school closed in 1948 or 1949, and the building has since been used as a church, first as a branch of the Trinity United Methodist Church and later non-denomination. This is it's current directory listing at Rhea County Online: INFO: SS 10 a.m., MW 11 a.m., CTU 6 p.m., EV 7 p.m., WE 7 p.m. Walnut Grove Full Gospel, Non-Denominational Hwy. 27 N.
